open letter to Google:
February 14th, 2006open letter to Google:
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of my decision to at least temporarily boycott the use of the Google tools I have learned to know and love. This includes my Google friends membership, you know custom home page, Google Earth, desktop search and toolbars, not to mention the diverse special searches and other stuff that has improved my computer and Internet experience so much these past years.
I strongly urge you to reconsider a policy that allows isolated regions of the Internet to modify and pervert the search tool for purposes of spying and censorship. You must certainly realize the consequences and cost of this policy in human blood, and the fact that history may not share your interpretation of current events nor your confidence in the correctness of your actions.
We do not believe that China can make its own Google and get anybody to use it instead of the real one. Providing a crippled version can only be described as malware, as I have no doubt that the government has free access to all the logs.

Dear Google,
After careful reconsideration, I have realized that life without Google is highly inconvenient. Maybe you could look into that other problem while I automate my mobile blogs .
